Urban Hunt is Back in the Building

Check the calendar for class availability and to sign-up, if you have any questions please call our office at 702-396-8501.

This is great for Barn Hunt dogs that want to continue hunting throughout the summer heat.  Urban Hunt is indoors, we will be using the quarry cage with rats. We follow the NASDA Urban and Locating rules in this class.

Please bring a long line leash and treats (or a favorite toy) to class.

Your dog must have completed an Obedience Course before enrolling in this class.

Handlers must be at least 16 years old.

Remember the Extreme Heat

Dogs quickly suffer dehydration, organ damage, and potentially fatal heatstroke. Never (ever) leave your pup unattended—or “just for a minute”—in a parked vehicle.

Use dog booties or avoid hot paths. Walk your dog early morning or late evening, on grass or cool surfaces. Test pavement with your hand or foot for at least 7–10 seconds.

One of the Cutest Boot Camp Leave It Lessons

SmartyPaws Boot Camp is our fun, drop‑off training program where your pup gets to learn, play, and hang out in the A/C while you go about your day. We’re open Monday–Friday, 7 am–6 pm, and no reservations are needed—just note that if you’re arriving after 9:30 am, we could be full.

We suggest bringing your pup 1–2 times a week to get the most out of the program. While they’re here, your dog will enjoy:

🐾 Fun training sessions (basic obedience + any behavior you’re working on)

🐾 Chill kennel breaks

🐾 Playgroup time if they’re up for it!
