We want everyone to know, Yvonne Klatt will be taking over as lead trainer at the SmartyPaws Boot Camp on Monday and Friday. We love Yvonne. She has been with us as an obedience trainer for 14 years.
Our Auxiliary Site Is Being Moved
We are moving our auxiliary building to increase the size of the training space and to bring Barn Hunt training and trialing indoors all year round. We will be in the new space on February 1, 2026. It will be easy to find because it is next door to the old auxiliary space in suite 120. If you are already using the auxiliary building for a class or barn hunt talk with your trainer for more information about your classes and what might be changing. You are going to love what we have planned.
We Are scheduling A Free Therapy Dog Information Class
It is scheduled for Friday, January 23, at 6:30 p.m.
Do not bring your dogs, this is information only on what to expect in the class. The class is free. If you are interested in the class you can sign up right on the calendar HERE or if you have questions give us a call at 702-396-8501.
Prices Are Going Up On January 10th
Our New Year’s resolution is to be as reasonable as possible about increasing prices. We know it is hard on everyone. All 6 week classes will go from $250.00 to $265.00. Private lessons for barn hunt and agility are going up to $50 for a half-an-hour session. And the agility and barn hunt drop-in fee is going to $45. Make sure to pay your drop-in fees and rent for January by January 9 to get the old rate.

Exciting Barn Hunt News
Our new Auxiliary building will be big enough to bring Barn Hunt inside. For both classes and trials. We will also offer an extended menu of classes when we get everything setup. We will let you know as soon as we know when that will happen.

We Have Two KinderPuppy Classes In January
For puppies up to six months old
One class starts Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
A second class will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2025 at 11 a.m.
Give your puppy the best start with our KinderPuppy class! This class lays the foundation for your pup to become a well-mannered companion both at home and in public — including visits to the groomer or vet.
What your puppy will learn:
- Basic commands: sit, down, come, stay
- Leash walking, puppy retrieves, stand for exam
- Petting by strangers, recall games, and more!
Important: Attendance at the first two classes is required.
We’ll also cover essential topics like:
- House training and crate training
- Chewing, biting, and jumping
- Handling and socializing
- Addressing individual family/puppy needs

Puppy Social Hour Makes A Big Difference
Something else we can’t recommend enough are the Puppy Social Hour. This is just a one hour social meeting. We offer these social hours every other week. In January it’s the 3rd, 17th and 31st. These classes are so good for puppies. You can sign-up right on the calendar HERE.

Nail Trims Are Cash Only
Nail Trims are cash only. The upcoming nail trims will be January 8 and January 22 from 10:30-11:30 am. When you arrive stop at the curb by the door and we will get you in the que; after we get you on the que then you can go ahead and park your car we will come out to get your dog. $10 and up per dog.
