Boot Camp Fun
Nico (black lab) was showing B.J. (cane corso puppy) the ropes at Boot Camp. Nico is a seasoned tug-o’-war player and is always looking for a good challenge from the Boot Camp rookies! Boot Camp and Daycare is available M-F 7am-6pm. Click here for full details on Boot Camp.
Our Auxiliary Site Is Almost Ready
Classes will be restarting. Talk to your trainer for information. We will be able to add barn hunt classes to the day… as well as setting up indoor barn hunt trials throughout the year. We will get the new classes listed on the website calendar as soon as possible.
Get Rattled is back March 28
SmartyPaws is still sponsoring the Get Rattled event but we will no longer be scheduling the appointments, you will book your appointment directly with Get Rattled.
Click on the Events tab and select Las Vegas 3/28 to register. The rattlesnake training will be held in our parking lot at 4161 No. Rancho Dr., on March 28.

KinderPuppy Class in February
For puppies up to six months old
One class starts Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11 a.m.
Give your puppy the best start with our KinderPuppy class! This class lays the foundation for your pup to become a well-mannered companion both at home and in public — including visits to the groomer or vet.
What your puppy will learn:
- Basic commands: sit, down, come, stay
- Leash walking, puppy retrieves, stand for exam
- Petting by strangers, recall games, and more!
Important: Attendance at the first two classes is required.
We’ll also cover essential topics like:
- House training and crate training
- Chewing, biting, and jumping
- Handling and socializing
- Addressing individual family/puppy needs

Puppy Social Hour Makes a Big Difference
Something else we can’t recommend enough are the Puppy Social Hour. This is just a one hour social meeting. We offer these social hours every other week. In February they are the 14th and 28th. These classes are so good for puppies. You can sign-up right on the calendar HERE.
Basic Obedience 3
Our obedience courses are for training the growing dog who can now focus for longer periods of time and who also may be showing some adolescent tendencies that need to be addressed. Some behaviors just aren’t cute when Fluffy gets to 50 lbs!!!

Nail Trims Are Cash Only
The upcoming nail trims will be February 5 and February 19 from 10:30-11:30 am. When you arrive stop at the curb by the door and we will get you in the que; after we get you on the que then you can go ahead and park your car we will come out to get your dog. $10 and up per dog.
