Boot Camp
& Day Care

Both Day Care and Boot Camp are available at our Rancho location Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm.

Dogs should not be dropped off any earlier than 7am and should be picked up no later than 5:45pm. This allows adequate time for you to chat with your dog’s trainer before we close at 6pm.

There is a $5 per minute fee for dogs dropped off before 7am, and a $5 per minute fee for dogs picked up after 6pm.

We allow up to two handlers per dog in our classes.

Updated shots and a negative fecal test that is at least 6 months recent is required at registration. Any dogs one year and older must have a current DHPP vaccine and rabies vaccine.

SPECIAL PUNCH CARD PRICING
$250 for 10 days

Day Care is strictly playtime! We hold structured play groups and the dogs will be put into a schedule rotating between play time and rest time. We do have some requirements for Day Care:

  • Dogs must be crate trained.
  • Dogs must be social. (They don’t have to play with other dogs, but they can’t be aggressive towards people or dogs in any way)
  • Dogs must not have any behavior issues such as: escaping crates, destructive behaviors, aggression and/or fear.

All dogs must go through an evaluation on their first day of Day Care. It will be a day of Boot Camp and is charged at the Boot Camp price: $55.

This ensures that the dog meets the aforementioned criteria for Day Care.

Boot Camp is training in addition to playtime. Bring your dog to spend the day with our trainers in a safe, fun environment! Dogs will learn:

  • Basic to Advanced Obedience
  • Agility
  • Tricks
  • Continuing education from classes

Please note, dogs that have behavior issues may need Behavior Modification training before attending any Boot Camp.

Dogs that struggle with aggression or severe anxiety will need Behavior Modification training until their behavior is acceptable for a Boot Camp setting.

Behavior Modification dogs do not have social time with other dogs.

Just like Day Care, you leave your dog with us for the day. Professional trainers will work with your dog if it’s struggling with negative behaviors such as:

  • Aggression
  • Fearful/timid
  • High energy
  • Reactive (barking at people, other dogs, etc.)
  • Separation anxiety

Private lessons are also available:

In-home private lessons are $150 per hour.

Or at SmartyPaws for $125 per hour.

Sorry, punch cards are not available for Behavior Modification.
