We will be back in Norco, CA at the end of the year in November. This year seemed to rush by. We hope to see you there. We have set up several more dates for 2027 and we will have the premiums up soon. Mark your calendars.

Wyatt Nine wanted to show all of his ribbons from the May and June Norco trials. The top photo is from May and the second photo is from June. The only thing we can say is WOW, Wyatt, you go, dog!
When you have awesome dogs you show them off! These two beauties are owned by Jared and Christine Gibson. Havoc earned his NATCH 3 and Versatility NATCH 3 and Hamilton earned his Versatility NATCH 1, during the June trial.
Basic Obedience Makes Us Smile
You can access all of our basic obedience classes right from our calendar. It’s really easy to get signed up. We offer several different classes to choose from.
Help Us Fill A Van For Local Las Vegas Students
We are working with Fetch-A-Tech Office and Foxtail Coffee Co in supporting children in our community by donating school supplies for students in need.
Collection Dates are July – August 7
We are collecting backpacks, notebooks, loose leaf paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, safety scissors, glue sticks, rulers, calculators, folders, composition books, colored pencils, tissues, hand sanitizer, headphones/earbuds.
Congratulations Tonto!
For slammin’ your Canine Good Citizen test. We offer four levels of obedience and then you can test for your Canine Good Citizen. At that point you can apply to join The Smarty Paws Therapy Dog Group. We go out to a senior citizens home every weekend. We have been working with the memory care unit.
We would love for more dogs to join us. After you have gone out with our group a couple of times we can set you up for Therapy Dog testing through the Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs training center.
Boot camp is training in addition to playtime. Bring your dog to spend the day with our trainers in a safe, fun environment!
Dogs will learn:
Basic to advanced obedience
Continuing education from classes
And any other things you may be having trouble with at home.
Please note, dogs that have behavior issues may need behavior modification training before attending our boot camp.
Boot Camp and Daycare is available Monday through Friday 7am-5:45pm. Please see our website for full details on Boot Camp, Daycare and Behavior Modification.
If you haven’t seen our new Smack training treats, our boredom-buster Dogginstix and Yak Chews you are missing out. Let us know if you want us to pack something up to go.
Indoor Barn Hunt Classes on calendar
Classes for Barn Hunt have been added to the calendar, drop-in fee is $45. Private lessons are now available also. You can sign up online using the calendar or email us to get signed up It’s $50 for 30 minutes. Email us directly at SmartyPawsBarnHunt@gmail.com

KinderPuppy Classes Starting In July
For puppies up to six months old
One class starts Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11am
Give your puppy the best start with our KinderPuppy class! This class lays the foundation for your pup to become a well-mannered companion both at home and in public — including visits to the groomer or vet.
What your puppy will learn:
- Basic commands: sit, down, come, stay
- Leash walking, puppy retrieves, stand for exam
- Petting by strangers, recall games, and more!
Important: Attendance at the first two classes is required.
We’ll also cover essential topics like:
- House training and crate training
- Chewing, biting, and jumping
- Handling and socializing
- Addressing individual family/puppy needs

Puppy Social Hour Makes A Big Difference
Something else we can’t recommend enough are the Puppy Social Hour. This is just a one hour social meeting. We offer these social hours every other week. In July they are 11 and 25. These classes are so good for puppies. You can sign-up right on the calendar HERE.

Dr. Carter is at SmartyPaws all day Thursday he will be in the new auxiliary building from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The suite right next door to the old place at 4175 N. Rancho Dr., Suite #120, Las Vegas, NV 89130. Chiropractic care can make a difference in animals of all sizes. Nail Trims Are Cash Only
The upcoming nail trims will be July 9, 23 and August 6 from 10:30-11:30 am. When you arrive stop at the curb by the door and we will get you in the que; after we get you on the que then you can go ahead and park your car we will come out to get your dog. $10 and up per dog.
