We found two You Tube videos of Mike Omartian in action at National Trials.  They are really interesting and show the possibilities of working at distance during a trial. Enjoy!

At the NADAC Champs in 2010, Mike ran five dogs. All five made the finals. Two got first place, two got second place, and the fifth one got fourth place. He also won "Highest Scoring Dog" with zero faults, "Highest Scoring Terrier" and "Highest Scoring Proficient Terrier." To top it off, he got what they call the "Handlers Choice Award," which is where the exhibitors vote for who it should go to, which is REALLY cool!

Good news everyone!!! We have finally scheduled Mike Omartian to come to SmartyPaws to give us a two day seminar on distance work for agility. The dates are Sat. and Sun. April 28 and 29.
