Abby Owner & Handler: Leesa Carey Mix Breed Abby is a five-year old mixed breed, rottweiler & chow? She does actually have a black tongue and a tail that curls up over her back. I rescued her from the shelter when she was about seven months old. At that time, I was only doing obedience with one of my other dogs. When she was about 2-1/2, we started training in agility were both hooked. After a couple of years of off-and-on training, I got up the courage to enter a USDAA show in California. Abby was great, her mom wasn’t, but she still managed to get a leg in her Novice regular class. We haven’t done any more USDAA shows yet, but Abby has just moved up to Open in NADAC. Abby is always extremely eager and happy to work in agility, mostly because of her great trainer, MaryKay Grahn, who has taught her that “EVERY DAY IS HER BIRTHDAY” We both thank her for showing us how much fun agility can be!
