Last year, my husband and I enrolled our Golden Retriever, Moose (then 3 years, 9 months old) in the basic obedience class at Smartypaws. I was the one chosen to "work" Moose and the classes were enjoyable for both of us, and provided excellent instructions and helpful hints in training Moose. The training is done in a positive, reinforcement manner - no harsh words or physical pushing or pulling. MaryKay and her assistant Annie were just wonderful to all the dogs, and humans. Since Moose's graduation, he has become a therapy dog. His good manners are now evident to all the patients he visits at Mountain View Hospital, and residents at various rehab/assisted living facilities. I would highly recommend Smartypaws to anyone wanting to training their canine.
