Greta is almost three years old and has been training for about one year (minus the summers when it is too hot). We attended a Las Vegas AKC show and didn't do very well. Even though she is a great jumper and can really sail over them with ease, Greta just doesn't see the point in going 'OVER' all of them, when it is so much easier to go 'AROUND' them. Since then, she has been in semi-retirement waiting for it to cool down.
In the fall, we'll start training again and see if we can encourage a little more enthusiasm from her. I'm confident that with MaryKay's focus in behavior and her success with other dogs I've seen her train, she will teach me how to amplify this aspect of Greta from less enthusiastic to jazzed!
